A new voice
in housing

Yours.

The Housing Assembly is a grassroots movement fighting for affordable, secure homes. We’re led by renters, families, and key workers, not developers or politicians, turning personal experiences into collective action. Whether you’re priced out of your community, stuck in unsafe housing, or crushed by unaffordable rents, your voice matters. Join us as we officially launch our website at the B&NES Housing Summit on 11th July, including a discussion forum to keep the conversation going, building a community and power for change.

Stay tuned: Sign up for updates and ways to get involved.

Greetings from the Housing Crisis is a creative campaign by the Housing Assembly that takes form in a series of postcards from the people and places housing forgot, popping up next on the 5th July at the Midsomer Norton Farmers market and the 6th July at Keynsham Music festival. Members of the public are invited to engage with and respond to thought-provoking postcards related to the housing crisis. Everyone is encouraged to participate, from families priced out of their hometowns and young professionals struggling to save for a deposit to renters stuck in damp, unsafe flats – these are stories the system ignores.

Until now.
