GuestAfter a relationship ending in 2019 I became homeless and needed to move in with my parents. Due to the nature of their relationship the only room available was the sofa.
I have been sleeping foetal on the sofa for 4 years now.
I have Erbs Palsy, metalwork in my leg after a fall (which causes pain and difficulty in walking), Chronic Migraine Syndrome, Asthma, Fibromyalgia, ADHD and CPTSD.
There are elements of emotional abuse and control from one of the parents, which has increased since their retirement last year.
I have supporting notes from my GP, psychiatrists, hospitals and therapists but the highest I was eligible for was Band B despite the utter desperation and mental health decline.
I check for properties every week on homesearch and apply for the amount I am allowed (which is limited to a few.) Recently there have been 0 eligible properties for a disabled single person as I am only entitled to a studio or one bedroom.
I have been doing everything I can and am under extreme pressure due to my parents no longer having a living room.
I am on benefits due to being unfit for work and highest rate PIP.
I have no indepence, no support and no belongings.
I don’t know how much longer I can cope.
