I am a nurse and I have worked in Bristol for 5 years I am currently paying private rent 1 bedroom for 1100 a month . I was told by the council I am not eligible for a council place I have worked all my life payed my taxes and I have to over work because the cost of private renting is there any way I can get help to find a cheaper place as all my money goes to my rent . I have helped people all my life as a registered nurse I should be allowed to get a council place does anyone know how to help me
